KILG to KGED to KCGE to KILG
Took a flight on Sunday Febuary 23rd with my son Henry. We went down to Georgetown and plan was to come back to Wilmington, however breakfast place wasn't opened at Georgetown (I checked and website said they opened at 9, but didn't open until 11) so we ended up flying to a recommended place from Gary called Cambridge and stopped in at Kays. Henry enjoyed seeing the multiple planes sitting on the ramp and we ate crab dip and BLTs. Flight back to Wilmington was great. Henry had a great time until I was on final approach for 27, he pinched his finger and let out a cry, but as a pilot you are taught to Aviate, Navigate, Communicate, so I aviated until that bird was landed. Winds were 240 @ 12 G 22 when we landed.

The restaurant weekend hours are strange at GED. Mary and I ran into the same issue a few weeks back. It was a gorgeous day to fly Saturday, we might have passed we were heading south to OCMD to give the airport car a run.
